You Don't Look 35 Charlie Brown Details

This commemorative collection celebrates the thirty-fifth anniversary of the "Peanuts" comic strip by bringing together the author's favorites, with reflections on the sources for the comic strip from his own childhood

Reviews

The beautiful part of this book is that the strips (which range from the 1950s to the early 1980s, grouped thematically instead of chronologically, which may be frustrating to those in a pre-Fantagraphics mindset) is that Sparky's essays are interspersed throughout, and it's hugely worthwhile to read the thoughts, musings and concerns of the great man: indeed, I find Schulz one of the preeminent American artists of the twentieth century, maybe the best. It's worth it to see what he was thinking about.
